Para-Medical Education Fund

The Woman’s Board of Day Kimball hospital is pleased to support the continuing education of Day Kimball Healthcare employees by awarding scholarships through the Para-Medical Education Fund.

The Para-Medical Education Fund is directed by a committee of Woman’s Board members who meet quarterly to review applications submitted by Day Kimball Healthcare employees who wish to advance their skills. For example, an radiology technician may seek a scholarship to continue his or her education to specialize in CT Scan or mammography. Also, consideration is given to applicants applying for credit or courses for advanced degrees such as MS or PhD.

Typically, the Para-Medical Education Fund assigns $6,000 per year for scholarships. These scholarships can be used for tuition, registration fees, certification and/or licensing examination fees.

2nd Annual Day Kimball Hospital Deary Memorial Spring Gala & Auction - Tickets On Sale Now!

When: Saturday, March 13, 2010 6:00 p.m. Location: The Gold Eagle Restaurant at the Laurel House in Dayville, CT Tickets are $30 and include admission, dinner, music and dancing. Live and Silent Auctions will take place throughout the Gala as well as raffles and door prizes. All proceeds to benefit the Day Kimball Hospital Deary Memorial Cancer Fund.
