Para-Medical Education Aid Fund

The Woman’s Board of Day Kimball hospital is pleased to support the continuing education of Day Kimball Healthcare employees by awarding financial aid through the Para-Medical Education Financial Aid Program.

The Para-Medical Education Financial Aid Program is directed by a committee of Woman’s Board members who meet quarterly to review applications submitted by Day Kimball Healthcare employees who wish to advance their skills. For example, a radiology technician may seek financial aid to continue his or her education to specialize in CT Scan or mammography. Also, consideration is given to applicants applying for credit or courses for advanced degrees such as MS or PhD.

Typically, the Para-Medical Education Financial Aid Program assigns $10,000 per year for employee continuing education. These funds can be used for tuition, registration fees, certification and/or licensing examination fees.

Applications are available in the Human Resources Department.
