PUTNAM, CT – Trinaty Hawkins, accounts receivable technician, is Day Kimball Hospital’s January Employee of the Month. Hawkins plays an important customer service role that requires precise organizational skills.

“I’m proud to be January’s employee of the month,” said Hawkins. “I work extremely hard and strive to do the best job I can each day because my children inspire me to better myself, so I’m grateful that others feel I deserve this honor.”

Hawkins has been working in the Patient Accounts Department at Day Kimball for five years. Her daily responsibilities include processing and balancing all of the money that comes into Day Kimball Hospital from all outside resources. Hawkins enjoys multitasking and keeping busy; therefore, the different interactions and requests she has each day keeps her work new and exciting.

“As Trinaty herself will tell you, she loves her job and it shows,” said Sarah Ginnetti, director of patient accounts. “You rarely catch her without a smile on her face. Trinaty consistently goes out of her way to provide exceptional patient and customer attention to all who approach her, while at the same time, excels in her ability to ensure that all payments are posted to the hospital’s financial system without skipping a beat. Trinaty is a joy to have in the department.”

Before joining the Day Kimball family, Hawkins worked at Westbank and took classes at Quinebaug Valley Community College. Currently living in Danielson, Hawkins enjoys spending time with her family, crocheting, running and reading.
