Day Kimball Hospital extends gratitude to all those who made the 23rd Annual DKH
Golf Classic a Success!
On Monday, July 16, more than 267 golfers from Northeastern
Connecticut enjoyed a day in the sun participating in the 23rd
Annual Day Kimball Hospital Golf Classic at Tunxis Plantation
Country Club, Farmington, Connecticut.All proceeds will
benefit the Day Kimball Hospital 2007 Giving Appeal, which
supports the following hospital services: Maternal Child Health,
Cardiology, Oncology, Pediatrics, Emergency Medicine and
other areas of Day Kimball Hospital.
Thanks to those who made the 18th Annual
Deary Memorial Five Mile Race & Walk a
Complete Success!
Saturday, August 11, marked the 18th Annual Day Kimball
Deary Memorial Road Race & Walk. More than 300 runners
and 400 walkers & volunteers participated in the five-mile road
race and walk that started and finished at J.D. Cooper’s in
Putnam in the fight against cancer.The Day Kimball Deary
Memorial Road Race & Walk began in 1989 and has collectively
raised more than $685,000 to provide services and treatment
to individuals in our community who otherwise may not have
the resources available to obtain needed medical attention. Through various events, pledges, and sponsor donations, more
than $76,000, after expenses, will be given to the Day Kimball
Deary Memorial Cancer Fund this year. On behalf of Day
Kimball Hospital and Deary Families, we
thank you for your overwhelming support!
