Day Kimball Hospital to host First-Ever Caregiver Retreat
PUTNAM, CT – You are cordially invited to cover Connecticut’s first-ever Caregiver Retreat on Friday, April 11 from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm at Creamery Brook Retirement Village, 36 Vina Lane in Brooklyn. The event is a community collaborative, hosted by Day Kimball Hospital’s Center for Healthy Aging, Day Kimball HomeMakers, the Alzheimer’s Association – CT Chapter, Creamery Brook Retirement Village, and Pierce Memorial Baptist Home’s Adult Day Care.
This retreat was developed to honor and give respite to the caregivers of Alzheimer’s and dementia patients. Adult day care will be available, so caregivers can attend the event. The day will include:
