News & EventsThe Senior Dances Twist and Turn Again for the New YearPUTNAM, CT – On March 26, 2008 all seniors are welcome to attend the kickoff of this year’s Senior Dances at the Putnam Lodge of Elks from 7:00 to 10:00 pm. The dances will continue to be on the fourth Wednesday of every month. At the dances, seniors enjoy music of the 30’s, 40’s and 50’s. Each year, many seniors come for an evening of dancing, while others come for listening and socializing. No RSVP is required, and the dances are a free community service. The Putnam Lodge of Elks is handicap accessible. “I’m very excited to embark on a new year of dances,” said Susan Esons, Executive Director of Day Kimball HomeMakers. “This year we have more than one DJ service to add some variety and we’re hoping that even more community members attend the dances this year.
