Day Kimball Hospital’s Oncology Department to Host 2nd Annual Celebration of Healing and Hope with Guest Speaker Brian Dennehy

PUTNAM, CT –On Sunday, September 23, Day Kimball Hospital’s Oncology Department will host its annual Celebration of Healing and Hope for Oncology patients treated at the Hospital’s center. The celebration will be held at The Harvest Restaurant, in Pomfret, from 1:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M.

Guest speakers will include actor Brian Dennehy, Peter Deary, Chairman of the Board of Directors for Day Kimball Hospital, Robert Smanik, FACHE, Day Kimball President and CEO, Dr. Jeffrey Gordon, Medical Director of Oncology and others. The festivities will also include refreshments, raffles and giveaways.

As the Celebration of Healing and Hope continues to grow in popularity, guests are eager to celebrate with friends and family leaving the restaurant filled to capacity. This year, nearly 200 guests are expected to attend.

Day Kimball Hospital is a non-profit, 103-bed community hospital in Putnam.
