Pink Aid: for Women Battling Breast Cancer

Pink Aid, a charitable organization that helps to fund breast cancer support services for women in need, has awarded Day Kimball Healthcare a $6,000 grant for the period March 1, 2015 through February 29, 2016.

This grant allows us to offer our patients who are battling breast cancer, and who meet eligibility guidelines, up to $500 to help cover the cost of:

  • transportation and travel companion services to medical appointments and food shopping
  • personal care and homemaking services such as general housekeeping, laundry, meal planning, preparation and clean-up, medication reminder and personal care assistance with bathing and dental hygiene as well as other related homemaking and personal care services

For more information, contact Abby Soriero-Durand, Hematology/Oncology Social Worker at (860) 963-6425 or agsorierodurand@daykimball.org.
