New Plainfield Healthcare Center - Opening December 2010

Construction is underway and on schedule for the new Day Kimball Healthcare Center located at 12 Lathrop Road in Plainfield, CT. This new medical office facility is a 27,500 sf, two-story building located on a beautifully landscaped, 4-acre site with access from Lathrop Road and Dow Road. The building will be a steel frame structure with a brick veneer exterior, a shingled mansard roof with gabled dormers and windows carefully positioned to provide views of the wooded surroundings. The first floor of the facility will include a Walk-in and an Adult Primary Care facility, each with nine exam rooms. A Women’s Health Center will occupy the second floor and will include twelve exam rooms as well as diagnostic imaging and other services. The second floor will also include meeting room space for community contact and education.

The new facility is directly behind our existing Plainfield Healthcare Center building located at 31 Dow Road. Both facilities become a part of the Day Kimball Healthcare Center in Plainfield and will provide extensive healthcare services to the community. The existing Dow Road facility will continue to offer pediatrics, laboratory (blood draw), cardiac rehab and physical medicine (physical, occupational and speech therapies).
