Day Kimball is very proud of the fact that every year nearly 200 residents of Northeast Connecticut trust our outstanding team to provide quality, state-of-the art medical care and excellent service in order to achieve the best possible outcome from total joint replacement surgeries.
Research has shown that the more informed you are about your surgery, the more active you are in participating in the process, the more likely that you will positively impact your recovery and achieve the results you want and expect. Therefore, we recommend our joint replacement patients participate in our Joint Academy of Northeast Connecticut program.
The Joint Academy of Northeast Connecticut is a program designed to inform and educate patients about the many steps to achieving a successful hip or knee replacement. Everyone on the healthcare team is important to the patient’s success, and the patient is the most important team member. This comprehensive program keeps patients informed through every step of their procedure, with everything from pre-surgery education to guidance toward a quick and safe recovery.
Learn More: Day Kimball Hospital was named a Blue Distinction Center for Knee and Hip Replacement® from Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield for demonstrating outstanding quality of care and patient results in knee and hip replacement surgeries.
