Wellness Programs: Community Education
The Day Kimball Healthcare Wellness Program is committed to enhancing your quality of life at all stages through our classes, programs and services. We offer something for everyone. These classes and programs occur on a regular basis and are offered in a group setting. We communicate our classes and programs through community calendars in local newspapers and our regular "Day Kimball Healthcare Community Updates" ad in the Shopper's Guide/ Turnpike Buyer.
- We can help you develop and maintain healthy habits: smoking cessation, weight management, stress management, exercise, etc.
- Our support groups, classes and programs try to give you the encouragement and information you need to feel better if you are dealing with a chronic disease or medical condition.
- By partnering with local groups in our community, we can also provide services and programs that help make the Quiet Corner of Connecticut a healthier place for all of us.
True wellness is more than the absence of disease or illness. It's about living well in all aspects of your life.

Integrative Medicine
Day Kimball has also implemented an Integrative Medicine program which is a patient centered health care model that focuses on prevention, and emphasizes wellness and healing of the whole person. The core foundation of Integrative Medicine is a caring, interactive partnership between patient and caregiver and the recognition that the patient has an innate ability to be well, make informed choices about his or her care and participate more actively in his or her own health and healing.
