Day Kimball HomeCare
Day Kimball HomeCare is an important component of the continuum of care provided by the Day Kimball family of services. When a patient is discharged from the hospital and is recuperating for surgery, for example, or is living with chronic illness, the specialized services he or she needs can often be performed in the home by healthcare professionals, allowing the patient the comfort of familiar surroundings.
Day Kimball HomeCare, located on the 3rd floor of Day Kimball Hospital, is non-profit, Medicare-certified, licensed by the Connecticut's Department of Health Services and accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. We employ over 100 highly trained and qualified individuals specializing in a wide range of specialized healthcare and in-home assistance services.
Day Kimball HomeCare was recently recognized by Qualidigm, Connecticut's
Quality Improvement Organization, for it's significant improvement in patient
outcomes.
