Infectious Disease

Day Kimball Hospital offers a consultative service for patients with acute or chronic infectious diseases. Dr. Douglas Waite, and Dr. Mireya Wessolossky, board certified infectious disease specialists on staff at the hospital, provide consultations on an inpatient and outpatient basis. A referral from a patient’s primary care physician is required.

It is the patient’s responsibility to check with their insurance carrier whether a referral or prior authorization is necessary prior to scheduled visit.

Directions

Enter the hospital through the main Visitors Entrance. Take the main elevators to the first floor. Take a left off of the elevator and then a right at the end of the hallway. The Neurology Department will be on the right hand side, across the hall from The OB/GYN Center and Dr. Leonard Averill’s Office.
