Pain ManagementNumerous national studies have shown that up to ten percent of Americans suffer from low back pain of varying degrees, from mild to debilitating. Day Kimball Hospital’s Pain Management Center specializes in assisting patients living with long standing low back pain. The Pain Management Center is staffed by an experienced and caring team headed by Dr. Christian Dee, a board certified Orthopedic Surgeon who has also completed a Fellowship in Spine Surgery at the University of California at San Fransisco. Services include the evaluation and treatment of chronic problems such a degenerative disc disease and spine steroids. Services ProvidedThe center offers a full technologically advanced and personalized treatment options including epidural injections under fluoroscopy, physical therapy and surgery. It also employs a medical approach as well, stressing the use and benefit of non-opioid pain management. Should surgery be necessary your specialist will discuss the risk and benefits related to the option that you choose. What to expect during your visit/procedureYour initial evaluation with Dr. Dee will take place in his office and will consist of an interview and detailed physical exam. After the evaluation you will receive an individualized treatment plan focused on managing the pain symptoms and, if necessary, your epidural injection will be scheduled.
