Sherry Kroll, MD, Joins Day Kimball Adult Primary Care Practice in Plainfield

–Day Kimball Hospital’s commitment to Primary Care continues to grow with the addition of Dr. Sherry Kroll to the Adult Primary Care Practice in Plainfield. Dr. Kroll joins Dr. Leilani Nixon and Dr. Richard Wilcon in the Day Kimball Hospital Outpatient Center located on Dow Road.

“It is wonderful to be a part of the adult primary care practice,” said Kroll. “We’re all working diligently to emphasize preventative care for our patients and want to see them maintain good health for the entire family.” In addition to providing primary care, Dr. Kroll is accepting referrals for colonoscopies.

Focusing on wellness and disease prevention, Dr. Kroll emphasizes diet, exercise and healthy lifestyles to her patients as well as screening tests to detect problems early on.

For four years, Dr. Kroll was a Lt. Commander and staff internist at the Groton Naval sub-base where she also acquired her colonoscopy training and skill set. Her focus today is on women’s health, preventative care and providing the best care possible for her patients. Dr. Kroll currently resides in Pomfret and has two children. She enjoys gardening, knitting and playing the piano.

Dr. Kroll earned her medical degree from Dartmouth Medical School, and completed her internship and residency at the National Naval Medical Center. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine; National Board of Medical Examiners.

The Adult Primary Care Practice is located at 31 Dow Road with Drs. Nixon, Wilcon and Kroll seeing patients weekdays. The practice recently moved to a newly renovated space inside the Dow Road facility and offers patients a comfortable and modernized office environment.
