Our year round principal fundraiser is Day Kimball Hospital’s Gift
Shop Sales. Volunteering to work in the gift shop is a wonderful opportunity
for Woman’s Board directors to fulfill their commitment to the organization.
Throughout the year, the Woman’s Board hosts a variety of events
including Mother’s Day and Father’s Day Recognition, Candy
Canes for patients during the holiday season, social events at member’s
homes for donations, and performances at the Bradley Playhouse in Putnam.

At the Woman’s Board Annual Meeting and luncheon a
check for $40, 000 was presented to Ronald Coderre, Vice President
for Philanthropy and Corporate Communication of Day Kimball
for partial payment of the Woman’s Board pledge of $150,000
towards the hospital’s ICU telemetry monitoring equipment.
During Robin Paquette term’s the Woman’s Board
supported and raised funds for this commitment. They managed
to pay all but $16,000 of the pledge, which will be raised
during new president Cynthia Dunne’s term. |

The newly elected officers to
the Woman’s Board of Day Kimball Hospital will serve

Treasurer; Paula Schimmel, Vice President; Cynthia Dunne,

The event will feature a sampling of recipes from the cookbook,

Vendor Sales
(Please note the vendor sales are being held in the Robert H. Field
Conference Center)
Mark your calendars. The Woman's Board has some great vendor sales coming
up at the hospital. A portion of the profits from these sales goes directly
to the Woman's Board. For new members, the vendor sales are at Day Kimball
in the Robert H. Field Conference Center located near the rear entrance
(Lab & Ped Center entrance) of the hospital. Remember to stop in and visit The
Shop at DKH for great Spring & Summer jewelry, gifts, cards and more.
