  Dr. McKinney specializes in pastoral/spiritual counseling & education: psychologically and spiritually informed care addressing the everyday problems of life allowing greater awareness of purpose and what gives meaning to the soul. This includes honoring a persons exploration of emotional and spiritual beliefs. He is the Director of the Academy for Community Health at Day Kimball Healthcare, and the Director of the Pastoral Counseling Training Program (ACPE PCS Program).
