Adult Bereavement Group | Coping & Support for Holiday Grief

November 15, 2017

Light a Candle | Support for Coping with Grief During the Holidays

5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.

Killingly Public Library

25 Westcott Road, Danielson, CT

Registration is required;
to register and for more information, please call Hospice and Palliative Care of Northeastern Connecticut at (860) 928-0422 ext. 213.

Our Adult Bereavement Group is a free group open to anyone aged 21 and up who has experienced the death of a loved one. Please join us as we explore the changes in our lives since our loss, and share ways to help us heal.

This is a peer support group, so the primary support comes from others in the group. One may receive help in expressing and understanding feelings in a safe place. This is achieved by stressing confidentiality in the group. One may also receive support simply by listening. Please note that the group facilitator guides the group discussion but is not a trained psychologist or psychiatrist.

*In the case of inclement weather, please call the hospice office before 12 noon on the day of the meeting, and we will update you as to any cancellations.
