DKH Safely Resumes Services | Don't Delay Your Care
March 1, 2021
You're being careful. So are we.
Taking care of yourself is important. At Day Kimball Healthcare, you can confidently get the care you need or have been putting off. We know that many people have delayed or avoided routine disease management and preventive screenings during the COVID-19 pandemic. Hoping a health issue just gets better usually means it gets worse. If you’ve neglected your health care or are ignoring medical symptoms, it’s time to take action.
We Are Ready to Safely See You Again
Your providers are eager to help with your healthcare concerns. So call your doctor or health care provider, and decide on a plan together. Today, telemedicine—being treated over the phone or online—is a much more readily available option. And, if you’re told to head to the doctor’s office or hospital, know that your safety is our top priority. We've taken extra safety precautions to ensure you get the world-class care you need.
Resuming Select Patient Services
- We are taking a thoughtful, gradual approach to resuming certain procedures and services that have been delayed due to COVID-19.
- If you are coming to one of our locations for a medical procedure, you will be tested for COVID-19 a few days prior to your scheduled procedure.
- The day you arrive for your procedure, you will be screened for symptoms, including taking your temperature. For everyone's safety, we are controlling the flow of people in and out of our facilities. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we manage this transition.
Your Safety Is Our #1 Priority
We continue to take extra safety precautions so you can feel confident and comfortable about coming to our hospital and clinic locations.
- In fact, 100% of our physicians are vaccinated against the coronavirus.
- And, 3 out of every 4 of our nurses and clinicians have chosen the vaccine too.
- We conduct mandatory screenings of all patients, employees, and visitors who enter our facilities for symptoms, including temperature checks.
- We provide masks for everyone coming to DKH.
- Visitors are limited to prevent the spread of the virus.
- Hand sanitizer is readily available throughout our buildings.
- We follow CDC standards for increased frequency of cleaning and disinfecting.
- We are continuing with social distancing practices.
- We are fully-equipped with the most advanced personal protective equipment (PPE).
- We've established specialized isolation spaces to protect all patients and staff while potential COVID-19 patients are evaluated.
