Lori Armstrong Named Employee of the Month

PUTNAM, CONN. – Lori Armstrong has been named employee of the month for July at Day Kimball Healthcare (DKH). She is the Secretary, Physical Medicine, at Day Kimball Hospital, which is part of the DKH integrated system.

“Lori is truly deserving of the employee-of-the-month award,” said Jerome St. Sauveur, director of Physical Medicine at Day Kimball Hospital, which is a subsidiary of DKH. “She not only is able to multitask in the performance of her essential responsibilities, but does so with a true demonstration of the customer service principles. She consistently exhibits a can-do attitude, always respectful to internal and external customers, and does so with ever-present enthusiasm and a smile. It is common for Lori to offer help to any departmental project large or small.”  
St. Sauveur went on to say: “Lori is an exemplary ambassador for the Physical Medicine Department and DKH.”
Armstrong joined Day Kimball Healthcare in June 2005 and has served as a medical secretary since 1994. As the Secretary, Physical Medicine, Armstrong is the focal point for all department communication and provides clerical support for the Physical Medicine director and department. She performs a variety of office procedures such as data input, typing, filing and record keeping.  She is also in charge of managing the smooth functioning of the director of Physical Medicine’s office, scheduling, processing forms and researching issues at the director’s request. The delegated tasks she performs help to maintain Physical Medicine and Day Kimball Healthcare policies.
Upon learning that she was named employee of the month, Armstrong said she was “very honored.” She continued to say that there are many other DKH employees worthy of this award.
Armstrong was born in Webster, Mass, and raised in East Killingly, Conn. She currently resides in Dayville, Conn, with her husband, Ronald, and her sister, Dayna. She is a member of HighPointe Church in Thomspon, Conn.
