Inpatient Nutritional Services

Day Kimball Hospital offers comprehensive clinical nutrition services, including dietary assessments, monitoring, and education for inpatients. It is an important component of overall health and wellness.

The Clinical Nutrition Department consists of a staff of registered dietitians skilled in analyzing a patient’s nutritional status and developing an individualized nutrition care plan to best meet the patient’s needs. The Nutritional Services Department consults with the patient's physician to provide a diet that meets their individual dietary recommendations and/or restrictions. Nutritional counseling is provided by registered dietitians to correct nutritional problems for patients on medical diets and/or general nutrition.
