Suzon Warner, LPN, and Hospice Bereavement Coordinator of Day Kimball Healthcare at Home, was recently honored with the 2023 Florence Wald Award of Excellence in End-of-Life Care by the CT Association for Healthcare at Home. Suzon was nominated for this prestigious award by our HomeCare team in recognition of her unwavering commitment to our hospice program’s patients, families, and volunteers. 

Suzon began her professional career in 1978 which included jobs as a home health aide, teacher’s aide, and ultimately as a licensed practical nurse (LPN). For over 30 years, she has served as DKH’s Bereavement Coordinator bringing her compassionate skills as a nurse to her patients, while walking with them and their families through the most difficult time of their lives.
