Palliative care is about maintaining quality of life while helping the individual to understand the treatment plan, manage the symptoms of his/her illness, explore options for care and access community resources. We provide a patient- and family-centered team approach that addresses pain and symptom management, family concerns, emotional support and navigating the health care system.
