Day Kimball Hospital is a 104-bed acute care community hospital in Northeast Connecticut and is an integral part of our healthcare network. For the 90,000 members of our communities, we offer high-quality, comprehensive medical services delivered by skilled medical professionals close to home.

In coordination with our affiliated healthcare centers in Danielson, Dayville, Plainfield, Putnam and Thompson, Day Kimball Hospital offers acute and general medical/ surgical care, a 24-hour emergency department, a birthing center, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, hematology and oncology, cardiopulmonary and mental health programs and much more.

When your care requires specialized treatments, Day Kimball collaborates with prominent medical centers to provide the care you need. For instance, Day Kimball partners with UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester, MA, for cardiac care and has developed a systematic approach to stabilizing and transporting heart attack patients to UMass for further treatment. When you are released from the hospital our cardiopulmonary rehabilitation team takes over care to help you recover.

We are proud to say we have been Northeast Connecticut’s community hospital for more than 120 years.
