• Biography:

  As a Connecticut licensed professional counselor with National Board Certification, Mr. Jack has worked in mental health and substance abuse services for 35+ years. After completing undergraduate school (BA, University of Connecticut) and a four-year tour in the United States Navy, Mr. Jack completed a MA and a Professional Diploma in Counseling Psychology at the University of Connecticut and a MS in Human Relations at Eastern Connecticut State University.

  Enjoying variety, Mr. Jack looked for new challenges every to 2 or 3 years or so and has had a variety of professional experiences, e.g. vocational counselor in the military, school counselor (elementary, middle, high school, and community college) (certifications in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire), career/vocational counselor (certification Massachusetts) adjunct faculty (undergraduate and graduate school), addictions counselor (advanced certification through the Connecticut Certification Board), psychiatric emergency services clinician, mental health counselor, employee assistance professional (counseling, training, and consulting), and a partial hospitalization program primary therapist.  Additionally, Mr. Jack is certified as an advanced accelerated resolution therapist.
