Day Kimball Health (DKH) has named Beth Miner, lead unit receptionist and patient care technician (UR/PCT) employee of the month for May.
Miner joined DKH in September 2020, bringing more than 30 years of experience in patient care, and quickly became an essential part of the intensive care unit team. In her role as a UR/PCT, Miner plays a key part in supporting both patient care and clinical operations. Her work helps ensure a safe, efficient, and compassionate environment for patients, families, and staff alike.
In response to being named employee of the month, Miner said, “It is a very nice gesture, but there has not been a day when I come here and feel like I am not appreciated.” She described her unit as her “second family” and added,” I feel cared about, respected, supported, and loved.”
“Beth embodies the spirit of teamwork, professionalism, and compassion that defines our care at DKH,” said Kyle Kramer, CEO of Day Kimball Health. “Her dedication to our patients and her colleagues is deeply valued, and we are proud to recognize her for the impact she makes every day.”
Miner lives in Plainfield, CT, with her husband and three children. In her free time, she enjoys caring for her family and spending time together.
