The Board of Directors of Day Kimball Healthcare (DKH), in conjunction with DKH executive management, has announced that effective July 10, Joseph Adiletta will relinquish his role as the healthcare system’s Interim President, a position he assumed temporarily in September 2019.
Paul Beaudoin, DKH’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Interim Chief Executive Officer (CEO), will remain in his current role and will temporarily undertake the president role and responsibilities.
“Joseph has been intimately involved in decisions relating to both the current operation and future strategic planning of the organization, and helped to lead Day Kimball through some challenging times, including the current COVID-19 health crisis,” said Janice Thurlow, chairman of the Board of Directors, Day Kimball Healthcare.
“While serving as Chairman of the Board, Joseph accepted the Board’s request to take on this role temporarily last fall,” Thurlow said. “On behalf of the Board of Directors of Day Kimball Healthcare, I’d like to express our appreciation and gratitude to Joseph for his dedication and years of service to Day Kimball. We wish him all the best as he plans to return to retirement.”
Adiletta previously served five, three-year terms on DKH’s volunteer Board of Directors since the mid-1990’s, including 6 years as its Chairman, and three times through prior transitions of its president and CEO.
“I want to thank Joseph for his guidance and invaluable contributions to the mission and values of Day Kimball,” said Paul Beaudoin, chief financial officer and interim chief executive officer, Day Kimball Healthcare. “I look forward to leading Day Kimball towards a strong future in the next chapter of its history.”
“It has been an honor and privilege to have had several opportunities to serve our community hospital, and to grow and enhance its mission and 125-year legacy of providing high-quality health care to northeast Connecticut,” said Joseph Adiletta.
"Day Kimball continues to search for a strategic partnership that shares our vision to continue our growth and evolution in providing quality care. I am confident that the solid leadership of our Board, along with the experience of our administrative team and dedication of our staff will ensure that our organization will remain strong and moving forward,” Thurlow said.
