Day Kimball Hospital Welcomes Northeastern Connecticut's First Baby of the New Year
01/01/2020One local family has something special to celebrate the beginning of 2020. At Day Kimball Hospital’s Burdick Family Birthing Center, Lennox Donte Townes was born at 10:49 a.m. on New Year’s Day to parents Sterling and Cassie Townes of Killingly, Connecticut. Lennox is the couple’s fourth child.
The healthy baby boy weighed in at 7 lbs 15 ozs and measured 20 inches long. Lennox is doing well, along with mom. His birth makes him the first baby born at the hospital and in Northeastern Connecticut in 2020.
