• Professional Interests: Teaching. I enjoy working with all ages, teaching strategies to improve health. I teach the 'why' and 'how'; I enjoy explaining to patients how the body works, how food is intertwined in that process and why their doctor is recommending a certain diet. Understanding why always helps with doing.
• Personal Interests: I recently moved here from Marquette, Michigan where we would get up to 300 inches of snow some winters! I have especially enjoyed the more mild winters of the East Coast. Most of my free time is spent with my 3 school aged kids but I love art and in addition to painting I have been learning stained glass.

  I have been educating patients in improving their health for 20 years and I am excited to be a part of the healthcare system here in Connecticut.
