- Biography:
Tayler Shea, LPC-A enjoys working with adults, specifically young adults navigating life transitions, trauma recovery, and building skills in distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and communication. She primarily uses CBT and DBT-based interventions and has experience treating a variety of mental health disorders, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, specific phobias, and personality disorders.
Tayler has a strong interest in family therapy, particularly supporting families struggling with communication and connection as well as facilitating clinical group therapy focused on skill development and interpersonal growth. She is passionate about helping clients foster their own supportive communities, regardless of life circumstances, to enhance resilience and wellbeing.
Tayler earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychological Sciences from Eastern Connecticut State University and a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Counseling Psychology from Assumption University.
Outside of work, Tayler enjoys spending time with her family, volunteering in the community to help others, being outdoors, traveling, listening to music, and reading. She is passionate about continuous learning and enjoy exploring new ideas and perspectives.
