Winter Storm Update | DKH Snow Delays

In addition to the delays reported yesterday, please be advised of the following updates to DKH's winter weather closures and delays:

Open:
•  DKMG Dayville Internal Medicine Office - also open for sick visits
•   Putnam Pediatrics
•  The Ortho Group
•  Hospital-based Lab & Blood Draw
•   Hospital-based Diagnostic Imaging Services

Closed:
• All other Day Kimball Medical Group offices in Putnam, Plainfield, and Danielson
• All outpatient Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PT/OT/Speech) offices
• All off-site Day Kimball Healthcare Center blood draw and diagnostic imaging locations

Winter Storm Update | DKH Snow Delays Sunday, January 25

Due to winter weather conditions, the following DKH services will have a delayed opening. Patients are being contacted to reschedule their appointments accordingly. All services are expected to resume regular business hours on Tuesday, January 27:

• All Day Kimball Medical Group offices will open at noon on Monday, January 26 
• All outpatient Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PT/OT/Speech) offices will open at noon on Monday, January 26 
• All off-site Day Kimball Healthcare Center blood draw and diagnostic imaging locations will open at noon on Monday, January 26 
• Hospital-based Lab and blood draw will open at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, January 26 
• Hospital-based Diagnostic Imaging Services will remain open and available to the public at the hospital per normal operations.

All other services at Day Kimball Hospital in Putnam will remain OPEN. For medical emergencies, please call 9-1-1 or go to the emergency department. The Townsend Emergency Medical Center at Day Kimball Hospital remains open 24/7. 

We encourage patients and the community to use caution and good judgment when traveling tomorrow, particularly during the morning hours. Stay safe in the snow!
