Winter Storm Update | DKH Snow Delays
02/23/2026UPDATED AS OF 4:30 P.M. ON MONDAY, FEBRUARY 23:
Due to the ongoing impacts from today’s storm, the following locations and services will have delayed openings or temporary closures tomorrow, Tuesday, February 24, 2026. Patients are being contacted to reschedule their appointments accordingly.
- Day Kimball Medical Group offices opening at 10:00 a.m.
- Day Kimball Healthcare Centers opening at 10:00 a.m.
- All outpatient Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PT/OT/Speech) are opening at 10:00 a.m.
- Plainfield diagnostic imaging will be closed
- Danielson and Plainfield Blood Draw sites opening at 10:00 a.m.
- Hematology/Oncology opening at noon
All other services and departments will maintain normal operating hours. Thank you for your flexibility during this winter event. The safety and well-being of our patients and staff are our utmost priority. Please allow extra time and use caution when commuting.
If you need emergency care, the emergency department at Day Kimball Hospital remains open 24/7.

Due to a major winter storm beginning on the evening of Sunday, February 22, 2026, and continuing throughout the day on Monday, February 23, 2026, all outpatient services will be closed. All services are expected to resume regular business hours on Tuesday, February 24. Patients are being contacted to reschedule their appointments accordingly. This includes:
- All Day Kimball Medical Group offices
- All outpatient Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PT/OT/Speech) offices
- All Day Kimball Healthcare Centers
- All blood draw and diagnostic imaging locations

For medical emergencies, please call 9-1-1 or go to the emergency department. The Townsend Emergency Medical Center at Day Kimball Hospital remains open 24/7.
