Warmth and Wellness Holiday Drive

Let's all help to keep our neighbors in need healthy and warm this winter!

DKH is once again holding its Warmth & Wellness Holiday Drive to collect new personal care items as well as hats, gloves, socks, and more for those in need during the holiday season and throughout the winter months.
 
All are invited and encouraged to support this worthy cause, which has returned for its ninth year! Donations will be collected through Friday, January 12, 2026.
 
Giving trees are located throughout our hospital campus and medical group offices. We now have 10 locations where donations may be dropped off:

Day Kimball Hospital locations:

• Main Entrance (Entrance A)
• Gift Shop/Dining Entrance (Entrance D)
• Emergency Department
• Outpatient Behavioral Health
• Diagnostic Imaging

DKMG Offices:

• Family Medicine | 7 Kennedy Drive, Putnam
• Family Medicine | 45 Green Hollow Road, Danielson
• Internal Medicine | 12 Lathrop Road, Plainfield
• Internal Medicine | 612 Hartford Pike, Dayville

Donations include the following items:

• Toothbrushes and toothpaste
• Bar soap, body wash, and deodorant
• Shampoo, hair brushes and combs
• Hand sanitizer and wet wipes
• Feminine care products
• New blankets, throws, or sleeping bags
• New socks for both children and adults
• New mittens, hats, scarves, and gloves for both children and adults

Donations will be distributed through TEEG, Interfaith Human Services’ food pantry, the DKH Family Advocacy Center and the DKH Behavioral Health outpatient services.
